First Plays are the very first impressions we have of a new game. They are not meant to be a review of the game, rather they are meant to show what strikes us from the very first time we play the game. These are knee-jerk reactions, gut instincts, the way the game made us feel about it the moment we took it out of the box. It is why I enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) playing my first game of whatever.
