First Plays are the very first impressions we have of a new game. They are not meant to be a review of the game, rather they are meant to show what strikes us from the very first time we play the game. These are knee-jerk reactions, gut instincts, the way the game made us feel about it the moment we took it out of the box. It is why I enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) playing my first game of whatever. Perhaps it will entice you to try it yourself. Perhaps it will make you reconsider.

First Plays are the first time we have ever played a game. These are not reviews because the game has not been played to an extent that allows for a proper evaluation of the game from an analytical standpoint. Rather, these are testaments to how much we enjoyed a game the first time we played it.
